VILA-REAL A-BALL TROPHY
JANUARY 15, 2023, what a beautiful date on the calendar for our A-ball UPV LENNOX team. We have won the Ciudad de Vila-real trophy played on Sunday, January 15, between the representatives of the Atlético de Madrid Foundation, VilaSport de Villarreal and the Valencia CF Footballers Association.
We work during these months with the objective of learning and discovering all the secrets of this sports discipline that makes us improve in our personal day-to-day. But that work is more rewarding when it also becomes team victories and improvement of the group that make up our newly created A-ball club.
The unconditional support of the UPV and its Sports Area is essential so that all those involved in this project believe that we are going to achieve the goals that we set for ourselves. And what about the strength that our sponsors LENNOX give us as a premium sponsor and THE AGUAS DE VALENCIA FOUNDATION (Global Omnium) as a new sponsor and collaborator.
With them our project takes on new dimensions, we want to offer them this trophy hoping to achieve many more with which to continue adding goals like the one we always use in our motto or slogan, "OVERCOMING AND SPORTS".
Let me tell you that the Plaza Mayor in Vila-real hosted the first edition of the A-Ball Ciudad Vila-real Trophy, where the great atmosphere among the players and those attending the event shone. A competition that had the collaboration of the Servei Municipal d'Esports and the Rural Nostra bank, as well as the support of AFAE, the Association for the Promotion of A-ball in Spain.
To get the champions' trophy, we had to defeat Valencia CF in the first match, in a very disputed match and with a very close final result of 4-3. The second match faced us against VilaSport de Vila-real where a complicated first half meant that the team had to give everything at the beginning of the second half where men like Carlos Sanchis, Karim or Aris with their goals gave peace of mind in the final stretch of the match . Lastly, and in the last match of the day, the desire to get this trophy meant that the fatigue of the players and coaching staff was not reflected on the court and the intensity of the game was maintained, achieving a broader result to win the victory. final against Atlético de Madrid and therefore with the coveted Cup.
